SafeD App

Safe-D App

The Safe-D mobile app was used in a study on women who have low vitamin D levels.

The app reminds users to get a safe daily dose of sun exposure, while ensuring an accurate measurement through the customisation of skin tone and the amount of clothing worn while exposed to the sun.

The art direction for the project follows the Safe-D branding. An easily to use interface allowed users to quickly customise their avatar daily, and record their sun exposure in a variety of ways.

The illustration style reflected the average age of the customers and included a wide range of clothing options and other features to allow for greater personalisation.
